The videos teach you how to handle the instrument, and show you the proper positions for both left and right hands. You'll learn how to move fingers of the left hand while playing simple, repetitive patterns with the right hand. Both versions have a metronome to keep time, and a tuner to ensure that the guitar has the right pitch.

The tuner allows standard and open tunings for guitar, mandolin, ukulele, fiddle, banjo & bass guitar.

The metronome plays tempos from 40 to 340 beats per minute for compound and odd-time meters as well as mixes of measures. The program can be configured to emphasize the first beat of every measure or set of measures.

Another software called "Ear & Memory Training" will help you to develop a good ear.
